As a Senior Frontend Developer, do you enjoy working on high-end projects with that special ‘wow’ factor? Do cutting-edge front-end technologies get your heart racing, and do you place great importance on excellent UI and UX? You can expect a variety of projects, from corporate websites and complex e-commerce platforms to data-driven applications, as well as an interdisciplinary team with whom you’ll collaborate to develop digital solutions of the highest standard.

Your tasks

Development of high-performance front-ends for digital products, ranging from corporate websites and complex e-commerce platforms to data-driven interactive dashboards
Analysing front-end requirements and selecting the appropriate front-end architecture in collaboration with your Lead Developer
Implementing complete projects within an interdisciplinary team comprising front-end and back-end developers, UI/UX designers and project management
Implementing sophisticated animation and design concepts, as well as data-driven optimisation of the user experience
Ongoing development of existing digital products used daily by thousands of international users
Further development and regular evaluation of our front-end technology stack

Our Offer

In addition to great benefits, we offer you an annual salary starting at EUR 56,000 gross (incl. holiday pay and Christmas bonus) on the basis of a full-time position. Your actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.

What you can contribute

At least 5 years’ experience as a front-end developer in the digital sector or in a similar role. If you haven’t quite reached senior level yet, please feel free to apply anyway. At pixelart, we’ll support you in taking that final step to senior level.
A degree in multimedia, computer science or a comparable qualification
Excellent skills in HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React
Knowledge of common tools such as Webpack, Vite, Storybook and Playwright
Vision for building complex front-end architectures
Intrinsic motivation for clean code and high standards of quality for yourself
Understanding of UX, web performance, browser compatibility and accessibility
Self-confidence, assertiveness and the ability to handle conflict
Interest in agentic coding
Due to our corporate language and current client structure, German language skills at a minimum B2 level are required
