You design digital interfaces at the intersection of people, technology, and product. In doing so, you move confidently across HMI, apps, digital products, and complex web platforms. The focus is on interaction design, usability, and systematic interface design – from initial user flows and interaction concepts to interactive prototypes, scalable design systems, and high-quality digital experiences.

Your tasks

  • Conceptualization and design of digital interfaces and user experiences for HMI systems, apps, digital products, and extensive websites or platforms.
  • Development of user flows, interaction logic, and interaction concepts for different usage scenarios and complex functionalities.
  • Translation of requirements, processes, and technical constraints into intuitive, understandable, and consistent user experiences.
  • Development of interactive prototypes – from early concepts to realistic high-fidelity experiences.
  • Application of usability and UX methods to validate concepts and develop them iteratively.
  • Building and further developing modular design systems, component libraries, and design tokens for different products, platforms, and touchpoints.
  • Definition of interaction patterns, states, feedback mechanisms, transitions, and motion principles.
  • Close collaboration with UX, Design, Development, Product teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Supporting the entire design-to-development process and ensuring consistent implementation.
  • Experimenting with new tools and methods around AI, vibe coding, rapid prototyping, and design engineering to make ideas tangible and testable quickly.
  • Further developing our expertise in HMI, Digital Product Design, Interaction Design, and Future Interfaces.

What you can contribute

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Digital, UX, Interaction, Product, or HMI Design.
  • Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design, Usability, Interaction Design, and Information Architecture.
  • Very good Figma skills, particularly in components, variables, design systems, and prototyping.
  • Experience translating complex requirements into clear and intuitive interaction concepts.
  • Confidence working across a wide range of digital applications – from apps and websites to HMI and embedded interfaces.
  • Experience with design systems, design tokens, and component-based interface design.
  • Interest in design engineering and new prototyping approaches. You do not need to be a frontend developer, but you enjoy using tools such as Claude, AI coding tools, or comparable technologies to quickly bring functional prototypes and ideas to life.
  • A strong sense of product design and industrial design, as well as an understanding of how digital interfaces interact with physical products and different usage contexts.
  • High standards for functionality, interaction, and visual design.
  • Curiosity about new technologies, interfaces, and digital product experiences.
  • Very good German and English skills.
