Kitzbühel in digital development

Kitzbühel's DNA stands for alpine excellence, iconic style and international appeal. The aim of the project was to translate this energy digitally – into a brand experience that combines emotion, design and performance. From inspiration to conversion, every detail was designed to ensure that Kitzbühel exudes the same aura online as it does in the real world: exclusive, desirable, distinctive.

The challenge was to translate the Kitzbühel legend into a consistent digital identity. Clear typography, strong colour contrasts and precise visual language create a brand presence that is both deeply rooted locally and universally recognisable. Every digital touchpoint reinforces the brand image – intuitive, high-quality and unmistakably Kitzbühel.

The Kitzbühel Shop has become an integral part of the new digital brand world. A uniform design, clearly guided user flows and intelligent links to booking and experience offers create a consistent, trust-building shopping experience across the entire platform.

Setting up Atomic Design Systems in Figma

The design system was built in Figma using the Atomic Design principle. This approach ensures a consistent visual language and enables efficient scaling across different platforms. Thanks to its modular architecture, components and patterns can be flexibly adapted to new digital touchpoints such as apps, TVs or tablets – without any inconsistencies in the design or user experience. The result is an expandable, future-proof design framework.

A key factor in the success of this project was the close collaboration with our existing system development partner, Web Crossing. Working together with the client, we were able to create a high-performance setup in which strategy, design and technology mesh perfectly. This synergy enabled us to deliver the project in a focused, efficient manner and to a high standard.
